An Omsk resident has been detained for passing on information to facilitate drone strikes on an oil refinery

According to the investigation, the man passed on information about facilities belonging to Gazpromneft-ONPZ JSC, specifically providing Ukrainian security services with details of the Omsk oil refinery in order to facilitate drone attacks.

A criminal case has been opened against him on charges of treason in the form of espionage (Article 275 of the Criminal Code). This indicates that the transmission of such information was carried out on the instructions of the Ukrainian security services.

Previously, a criminal case had already been opened against this man for publicly calling on the internet for terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure in the city of Omsk (Part 2 of Article 205² of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

This undoubtedly has a negative impact on the assessment of the man’s actions in the current situation.
